Promoting SBMA Philanthropy Art Gallery

SBMA is proud to announce its 3rd Annual Philanthropy Art Gallery will be taking place on Saturday, April 6th from 1pm – 3pm.

SBMA’s mission is to inform and educate architecture students about diverse opportunities in firm management, real estate, construction, development, and law. SBMA fosters collaboration and networking through events with professionals, advocating for a holistic approach to architecture.

The aim of the Philanthropy gallery is to raise donation for a non-profit organisation in Chicago and this year’s donation will be going to Designs for Dignity. Design for dignity creates restorative environments for non-profit service organizations and at-risk populations. Their mission aims to serve marginalized communities by harnessing the talents and resources of the design community at large to provide spaces that inspire hope and dignity as well as interaction and engagement. Using the power of design, they have positively impacted hundreds of thousands of lives by transforming 280+ non-profit spaces and leveraging $18+ million in pro-bono design services & donated materials.

Donations will be raised through art auctions, ticket sales, and direct contributions. Your support will directly benefit Designs for Dignity's impactful work in our community.

Join us for live music and lunch at the event as we celebrate the talents of student artists and contribute to the collective growth of our society.
